It's the ultimate test of my own training when I can take the gear off and still have clear, easy communication.
I grew up riding a lot bareback, barefoot and in what ever bridle or halter I could find. I'm now 37 and still love training days where its chill & old school.
I live in Australia now and don't go anywhere without boots on- I'm too scared of snakes!
