ALMOST 7GHz?! Zen 6 Clocks & Insane Specs Leak! AMD Talks RAM Shortage End Date
Some VERY exciting leaks for AMD Ryzen Zen 6 today, as Moore's Law is Dead shared some alleged hardware specs for the next gen Zen 6 CPUs. According to his latest leaked info, Zen 6 Medusa AKA the Ryzen 10000 desktop processors, will feature a clock speed of AT LEAST over 6.5GHZ. This means that if this rumoured clock speed is true, Ryzen 10000 could be a bit of a beast in the clocks department. But that's not all MLID or our other sources had to share on AMD's next gen Zen 6 Medusa, we also discuss what else we know about the hardware specs and architecture of the processor, as well as touching on Intel a little bit as well.
AMD have also discussed the current RAM shortage / DDR5 MSRP crisis, which has made memory extremely expensive - if you can get it with the supply issues. There have been a lot of experts on when we expect the memory price to decrease, or for the AI bubble to pop, and just in general when we expect relief from the hugely inflated pricing of DDR5 and RAM in general. But now AMD have commented, discussing when they believe the RAM shortage will end.
