Jane has lived in 50 to 60 different houses in her life and by her own admission she has always been someone who gets tired of things easily. After years working full time as a software professional and eventually retiring, Jane found that full time van life finally gave her the sense of movement and freedom she had been chasing her whole life. She has been traveling full time in her 2022 Pleasure Way Plateau FL for a year and a half, starting in Florida and heading west, and she supports herself on social security. This is not Jane’s first time in van life. She was previously married and lived in a Sprinter her husband built, but that chapter of life included buying a hotel in Springer, New Mexico, and ultimately none of it was the right fit. Now Jane travels solo with two swivel seats, creates beautiful art along the way, and shares her journey on her YouTube channel Like a Tumbleweed. If restlessness has ever felt like a curse, Jane’s story might just convince you it can be your greatest gift.
