Day 73 of this Ford Bronco restoration is a huge milestone—this Early Bronco build is finally getting close to its first drive! In this episode, I’m continuing the full classic Bronco restoration from the ground up, tackling critical upgrades and fixes that bring this project one step closer to hitting the road. If you’re into Bronco restoration, classic car builds, or hands-on fabrication, this is the kind of progress you don’t want to miss.
We install Tom’s Woods driveshafts for improved performance and durability, dial in the suspension with a Hellwig sway bar, and handle key mechanical fixes like repairing the oil pan and correcting the crossmember. On top of that, I begin building a custom roll cage, designed specifically for this Early Ford Bronco, adding both safety and structural rigidity. This episode is packed with real-world tips, problem-solving, and detailed looks at what it takes to build a drivable classic Bronco.
