Description
For Bryant Bettencourt, an internship at Adobe Research offered a chance to see what happens when research has the potential to move beyond the lab and into products people use.
A Master’s student in Artificial Intelligence at Northwestern University, Bryant spent the summer researching how guided form-filling experiences could be generated from PDF forms. Along the way, he connected with teams including Legal and HR to better understand the problems people were facing and consider how his research could help address them.
He also found a research community among his fellow interns. Lunches, intern events and conversations about each other’s work created opportunities to exchange ideas and learn beyond his own project.
