Honorable Minister of Posts, Telecommunications and ICT, and Science & Technology, Fakir Mahbub Anam, MP, visited Daffodil International University to inaugurate the Artificial Intelligence Research Lab and explore the innovative projects showcased by our students during the AI Project Competition 2026.
During his visit, the Honorable Minister interacted with the participating teams, discussed their ideas, and announced that the Ministry will work to support the commercialization of the top 20 AI projects, helping transform promising innovations into real-world solutions. He also visited the beautiful Daffodil Smart City campus and appreciated DIU's growing AI ecosystem.
Dr. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman of Daffodil International University, shared his vision of transforming DIU into an AI-Native University, encouraging students to pursue impactful AI research and assuring them of full support in developing and commercializing their innovative ideas.
Together, we are building an ecosystem where research, innovation, industry, and government work hand in hand to shape the future of Bangladesh through Artificial Intelligence.
