On 8 June 2026, the Soura community and countless admirers around the world lost a precious soul whose voice and melodies touched millions of hearts. Stephen Raita was one of the pioneers of Soura music and played a remarkable role in introducing the Soura language and culture to the world. Through his timeless songs, he gave a new identity to Soura music and made every Soura proud. His voice crossed boundaries and helped people around the globe recognize the beauty, richness, and heritage of the Soura language and traditions. More than a singer, he was an inspiration, a cultural icon, and a symbol of unity and pride for generations. His songs brought joy, hope, love, and togetherness to countless lives and will continue to inspire future generations. Though he has left this world, his voice will continue to echo in our hearts forever. The stage may be silent, but his melodies will never fade. A voice so rare, a soul so pure, and a legend who will never be forgotten. We express our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and countless fans during this difficult time.
