As we witness the fires raging through California, US; we are reminded of the Might of Allaah subhanahu ta'ala. The Salaf, when they saw fire, would stop and reflect, reminded of the Hellfire. May Allaah tabaarakahu wa ta'ala grant His aid and ease and allow this to serve as an admonition and time to ponder and reflect. May He subhanahu ta'ala have mercy on us all.
Allaah says in the Quran:
"We have made it a Reminder (of the Hell-fire in the Hereafter), and an article of use for the travellers (and all the others, in this world)." [Quran, 56:73]
