Description
A new assistive technology that allows users to control computers and smartphones with their tongue has officially gone on sale in the United States.
It offers another option for people with limited hand or arm mobility.
The device, called MouthPad, was developed by U.S.-based startup Augmental and is designed to function as a wireless trackpad that fits against the roof of the mouth.
Using a combination of tongue gestures and subtle head movements, users can move a cursor, click, scroll, and perform other computer functions without using their hands.
