Lindsey lives with Recessive Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa, a rare disorder that leaves her body covered in painful open wounds. After a traumatic childhood where she often felt like a burden and wondered if her family would be better off without her, Lindsey is now a single mother herself. She hopes to end the generational trauma she inherited while also managing a painful condition that has severely limited her physically.
Lindsey wants people to understand that although Epidermolysis Bullosa affects her body, it does not define who she is as a mother or as a person.
