The old Paiste 505s were glorioius! I just found a butt-kicking condition 18" 505 MEDIUM from 1983. I was hoping it would come in around 1500g on nose, but turned out to be a beefier 1578 grams. But then here I heard it here for the first time: truly marvelous.
