One of the biggest deals we have done in the history of Kempinski Residences The Creek.
A four bedroom resale worth AED 23,000,000.
The buyer was new to Dubai and had not yet opened a bank account when we agreed the deal. We noted in the contract that the cheque would be provided once the cheque book was issued.
Shortly after, the buyer had to leave the country before the situation escalated. Naturally you would expect some hesitation. But throughout the entire time they kept in contact and made it clear they still wanted the deal to go ahead.
Today they sent confirmation that the cheque has been couriered. It is currently on its way to Dubai through DHL.
If everything goes to plan, it should arrive this week.
It is a great reminder that even in uncertain moments, serious buyers who believe in the asset and the city still follow through.
This will be the biggest resale we have completed at Kempinski Residences The Creek since handover.
