Description
When was the last time you saw the Holy Spirit do something you could not explain? The spiritual gifts were never meant to sit in a theology book. They were given to the church to empower the church and edify the church — and when they stop operating, the church doesn't just lose power. It loses its witness to a dying world. In this opening night message of Charisma Weekend, Apostle Ed Citronnelli walks verse by verse through 1 Corinthians 12 and Romans 12:3-8 and lays out the nine spiritual gifts one by one — the word of wisdom, the word of knowledge, faith, gifts of healing, the working of miracles, prophecy, discerning of spirits, speaking in tongues, and the interpretation of tongues — with the specific purpose God assigned to each one. Not a list to admire. A toolbox to open. Then he asks the question most pulpits avoid: why did the fire go out? What happens to a church when the Holy Spirit is silent — and what happens when He is not. Why the modern church looks nothing like the church in the Book of Acts. And the history nobody preaches: the revivals where hunger came before platform, and God showed up.If you have been in church thirty years and cannot remember the last time you saw the Holy Spirit move in a way you could not explain, this message is for you.
