6.51, (7.78), 5.35, 5.87, (4.80) = 5.91 average in finals at Lex-Side-Ton 2023, tied PR single :D
Beyond happy to get this as my first squan finals performance of 2023! First round went badly, and then I got a decent 6.95 average in round 2, so I felt like I was in a better zone. Then this happened, along with a tied PR square-1 single!!! I don’t think I’ve ever tied a square-1 PR before so that’s awesome. What’s also cool is I didn’t PR at all today until the very last solve of the day (and the comp!), and I’m super happy to have performed well in finals for the first time in a while.
Now I will focus on doing well at DFW and making my solves more consistent 👍
