You know that machine that prints out tickets/turn numbers?
One time at a local deli, they had a damaged paper roll that was recently replaced left next to the machine. It still had a good amount of paper in it.
I asked if I could take it, the butcher said "You'll have to ask management".
So I just stole it lol
Every once in a while I'd doodle on it until I had filled up most of it.
