Today will be largely dry and bright under high pressure, with sunny spells after early cloud breaks up, although northern Scotland, Northern Ireland and some eastern areas may see a few light showers; temperatures will reach the low to mid-20s generally, and a touch higher in the sunnier south-west. Tonight remains mostly dry with variable cloud and clear spells, while a few light showers continue across northern Scotland and parts of Northern Ireland, feeling similarly cool as recent nights.
