The 2026 Toyota GR Corolla is a 300-horsepower all-wheel drive hot hatchback with an angry three-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and is available with both a six-speed manual transmission and a performance automatic transmission.
The 2026 model year sees improved chassis rigidity through the addition of over 45 feet of structural adhesive throughout the body, as well as enhanced engine cooling. The GR Corolla is an absolute monster in the corners and is one of my favorite driver's cars in history. In my opinion, it's more fun than a Civic Type R, Golf GTI, Golf R, or anything else in similar categories.
