Testing out the slow wheelie balance point on the KTM 390 Adventure R lately. It’s a completely different animal, and honestly, it’s got me realizing how much muscle memory changes over the years. Not sure I’ll ever be able to lock them in quite like the old days haha!
For comparison... here’s a clip from the archive back in 2001. A full coaster manual down a steep grade on my Yamaha Canada YZ426. Engine completely chopped, clutch pulled clean to fight that massive compression lockup, balancing the big thumper purely on the rear brake threshold.
Saving the wild story of how I ended up on that 4-stroke for tomorrow's TBT vault drop, but for now... who else is out here trying to teach an old dog new tricks on modern bikes?
