Description
The Heroes of Tomorrow: UN SDG Action Awards Ceremony will spotlight nine finalists and announce the winners of the 2026 edition selected from over 7,000 applications across 190 countries and territories.
The Heroes of Tomorrow: UN SDG Action Awards recognize changemakers turning the vision of the Sustainable Development Goals into reality. From gender justice and climate action to economic inclusion, the Awards spotlight those who aren't waiting for change — they're creating it.
Join us on Thursday, 29 October 2026, for an evening of recognition, performances, and global solidarity showing that change is already happening, and that hope is unstoppable. The Heroes of Tomorrow: UN SDG Action Awards programme is powered by the UN SDG Action Campaign, a special initiative of the UN Secretary-General, hosted by UNDP. It is made possible in partnership with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
