Dacia introduces the Hipster Concept, a fresh vision of ultra-affordable and essential electric mobility. Designed for city life, this compact EV focuses on simplicity, lightness, and sustainability.
At just about 3 meters long and under 800 kg, the Hipster Concept offers seating for four and up to 500 liters of cargo space. It’s small, smart, and incredibly efficient — perfect for everyday urban use.
Built with recycled materials and Dacia’s Starkle plastic protection, the Hipster embraces a rugged, minimalistic design. The interior features a simple layout, lightweight fabrics, and Dacia’s YouClip system for modular accessories. Instead of heavy screens, the driver uses a smartphone as both key and infotainment center.
Powered by an electric motor optimized for city driving, the Hipster Concept reaches about 90 km/h and is designed to cover a week’s worth of typical urban travel on just two charges. It represents Dacia’s mission to cut the cost, complexity, and carbon footprint of electric vehicles.
Although still a concept, Dacia hints at a possible production model around the 15,000-euro mark, potentially redefining affordable electric mobility in Europe.
