Patchy light rain affecting Northern Ireland, northern and eastern Scotland and running southward across eastern areas of England, but clearing by the afternoon. Dry elsewhere with best of the sunshine for mainland Scotland, Wales and western England. Warm in the sunshine with temperatures in the low to mid twenties.
