High pressure keeps most of the UK dry and sunny today, with temperatures widely reaching the low to mid-20s and high 20s in south-west England and south-east Wales, although eastern coasts and northern Scotland will see more cloud and feel cooler in the northerly breeze. Overnight remains largely dry with long clear spells and comfortable temperatures in the low teens, but thicker cloud may bring a few light showers to parts of East Anglia and Kent, while northern Scotland and the far north of Northern Ireland see patchy drizzle.
