13 years ago today, spitfire found its way out of my heart and into the world. “what have i done” is one of my favorite tracks on the record. honestly, it’s one of my favorite songs, ever! its one that’s always pulled at my heart strings and almost always brings tears to my eyes. this album changed everything for me as a songwriter, as a truth teller… no matter how painful or revealing. a lot of people weren’t ready for this level of truth from me, but this album found its way to those who were. i’m forever grateful that art, yet again, gave me a place to bare my soul, work through a lot of pain and come out on the other side… transformed.
