WE ARE THE 20%!
The majority of the Jewish population, both past and present, either don't have the opportunity, or simply aren't aware of just how precious thir teffilot are.
We carry on the legacy of our ancestors. We have all the power in the world to create goodness, build unity, and bring the geula.
There is a story of a little boy who ask his father right before bed for an apple. The father replies to his child letting him know that now it is time for bed, and an apple wasn't available to him. The boy begs and begs and the father repeatedly lets him know that it's not an option. Then, the boy says a blessing on the apple, the one he has yet to receive.
Now, the father is left with no other option but to provide the apple. The little boy did his part, he said the blessing and left no room for the answer "no".
The same applies to us and our relationship with Hashem. We ask and pray for geula, for peace and goodness to fall upon this world. We leave it up to him now. We prayed giving space for him to provide, and HE WILL.
Regardless of how Orthodox you may be, always remember how precious your words are in the eyes of God. You are his child and he wants what's good for you. You have the power off all of your ancestors backing you up. Use your voice not only to build a relationship with God, but to bring the geula closer!
