10 years have passed since I posted a little video on the internet that changed my life. one Thursday morning in Feb 2011, I was woken up with news that @LadyGaga had seen me singing her song Born This Way on YouTube and shared it on her Twitter. that news felt like the beginning of everything.
the amazing thing about a memory of this magnitude is that it’s a memory I share with so many people. I want to extend my sincere gratitude to anyone who has encouraged me or believed in me; to Lady Gaga for her iconic song and artistry, to Ace Burpee and the HOT103 crew, to John Downey, to my hometown, and to my dear friends and family.
lastly, to little me for her strength, courage, and heart, I am proud of you.
