In Part 2 of the Articulated Monster Masks Making course series, Patrick Magee guides you through his mask-molding process, from breaking down and sealing the WED clay sculpture to creating two-piece Ultracal 30 stone molds for the ears, and finally crafting a durable Bondo & fiberglass face mold.

Along the way, Magee shares a wealth of tips for capturing every form and detail of your mask sculptures, ensuring the finished mask looks, fits, and moves as well as possible.

You will learn step-by-step everything about making a plaster and fiberglass mold, including: - Tools and materials needed to create an Ultracal 30 stone and fiberglass mold - How to remove parts (in this case, the ears) from the sculpture and prep them for #molding - How to build, smooth, refine, and seal dividing walls - How to layer plaster and burlap to create a strong stone mold - How to safely open and clean the finished stone mold - Everything about Bondo Resin, Polyester Resin, and Catalysts - How to properly layer fiberglass and resin - How to sand and trim the cured fiberglass mold
