We’ve always said that building this cabin—and this life—comes with its fair share of highs and lows, but this hit us hard. Seeing the damage to the cabin felt like a punch to the gut, especially after all the sweat and heart we’ve poured into every single board.

In this video, we’re walking you through exactly what happened, assessing the damage, and trying to figure out our next steps. It’s a bit of a setback, but if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that the best things are worth fighting for (and rebuilding).
