I am currently building my art portfolio which means I get to make a ton of new art. This short features one of my recent pieces titled “dearly missed”. I came up with the concept while listening to Searows song of the same title. The painting is multi-media made in digital format using an iPad and an Apple Pencil. My favorite part of this piece is the flower field! I spent a lot of time on it and it’s the first thought I had when making this idea come to life. I also have really grown to love the rest of the nature featured in this painting (tall grass, weeds, fun and exciting color combos). I feel like the nature contrasts beautifully with the woman in the middle who seems to be overwhelmed or in a daze as she takes in all of the emotions and beauty surrounding her. Of course all art is subjective and it’s always interesting to hear other people’s thoughts and options about the meaning of my work so please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or find me Instagram and send a DM. I’m all ears! (@ ayonnaillustraits) I have a new piece being released on socials soon so please dont be a stranger. Artists need the support of many, many incredible people to make their dreams a reality. #art #supportsmallbusiness #supportsmallcreators #illustration #illustrator #digitalart
