We have an extra special birthday announcement to share 🥁... Zonda Montgomery recently celebrated her 101st birthday! 🎊
She was serenaded with Happy Birthdays from our lovely choir, we mean Lee Health Heart Institute staff, and presented with a special cake. 🎂
Pictured with her is Dr. Nabeel Memon, medical director of Structural Interventional Cardiology at Shipley Cardiothoracic Center, who was part of the team that performed transcatheter edge-to-edge repair (TEER) on her 100th birthday.
We’re pleased to share she was just here for an annual check-in. 😊
In the past year, Zonda has remained very active, spent time in New York and went to multiple Broadway plays! 🗽
