In Episode 8, The Boogeyman returns to the island. Wyck finds that the mask has been stolen from the museum and his old house door has been Kool-Aid man kicked out from the inside. Patricia is chillin at home when her van's horn starts to blare. She shuts it off but apparently has adhd and doesn't realize that her home is not how she left it only a minute later. She starts up the stairs, only to finally realize that someone is in her house. She leaves and is jumped scared with the boogeyman exiting her house. She then proceeds to knock on seemingly every door in town with no help in sight. She ends up interrupting book club with her confession about lying all those years ago about the Boogeyman phone calls, ends up tasing Kris and leaving her house. She spots the boogeyman upstairs, he does a run jump from the second story to continue chasing her. Patricia finally sets him on fire and does a double tap to ensure he won't get up. She follows him to the morgue, shot gun in hand in one of the most comical sequences we've seen in a while. Finally the boogeyman is taken out. The show is sprinkled with touching moments between Tom and Evan, explaining the circumstances surrounding Evan's mother and ends with the devastating news that the curse has not been broken.
