But after visiting Maranello with Bitdefender and getting a closer look at the world of Scuderia Ferrari HP, I realized just how much of modern F1 runs on data.
Every lap generates huge amounts of information. Teams are constantly analyzing performance, making decisions in real time, and relying on complex systems behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly.

From experiencing Ferrari’s private Fiorano circuit to learning more about the technology that supports a Formula 1 team, it was fascinating to see how performance and innovation go hand in hand.
It also gave me a better understanding of why Bitdefender partners with Scuderia Ferrari HP. In a sport built on precision, protecting critical systems and data is more important than ever.
While in Fiorano, I also attended Bitdefender’s Fan Threat Index workshop, which explored some of the online threats that can affect sports fans around major events and highlighted the importance of staying informed and protected online.
After seeing it all firsthand, I’ll never look at Formula 1 the same way again.
