Some believe the pot pie first took form in Ancient Greece, while other say it was fully realized somewhere in the Medieval Times. There's just something about chicken, cream, peas, carrots, and onions tucked away in a pastry shell that really fills that empty hole in your heart that family, friendship, or love is unable to. That place belongs to pot pie. ❤️🔥
But as tried and tested as a chicken pot pie has become through the ages, it can always be Wienermaxxed. So one innocuous summer morn, Chris awoke to find young Hunter sitting on his porch, glizzies in hand, ready to maxx the day.
Tender smoky tube steaks hard seared and served in a thick bath of sauce suprême with root vegetable floaters, topped with a pâte feuilletée crown and baked until the golden yellow of the mustard egg wash shines through. Served tableside. The coveted Wiener Pot Pie 🥧
