It sounds impossible, but there’s actually a route that makes it possible. Starting in New York City, you travel across the United States, through Canada and Alaska. In winter, the Bering Strait freezes, forming an icy bridge to Russia.
From there, the journey continues across Siberia, through the Middle East, into Egypt, and finally down through Africa to Cape Town.
That’s a mind-blowing journey of over 14,000 miles on foot!
