This is my 1979 XS750S
In the last video I showed how the failure was from the starter motor gear that must have previously failed, but two of the teeth were left in the engine.
I pull the engine down fully and give it a well deserved clean. I degrease and repaint the covers with heat proof paint. I do a repair on the oil filter housing bolt and am close to reassembly.
In the next video I'll resolve the second gear issue before full assembly.
