So the former Blizzard CEO just blasted the wow team talking about how during shadowlands he wanted the direction to focus on the lich king, the whole Arthas storyline, how he wanted wow to reset and how he wanted wow 2 and how Blizzard should have catered more to the hardcore, core audience instead of the casuals. All of this kind of explains why the story was so over the place a few years back with Arthas showing up in the worst way possible and the world soul saga attempting to be like a reset a wow 2 in a way.
