Why Your Photos Aren’t Sharp... Enough - LIVE!

Description

Are your photos REALLY not sharp… or are you just looking too closely?

In this live session I'll explore one of the most common frustrations in photography. Images that don’t look “sharp enough.”

Working in the studio with Polly, we’ll break down the real reasons photos can appear soft (and actually be soft), including:

• Camera shake and shutter speed mistakes
• Ambient light contamination with flash
• Autofocus errors and tiny depth of field
• High ISO and over noise reduction
• Cropping and over-enlarging
• When “close enough” is ACTUALLY sharp enough

I'll test both flash and non-flash setups, deliberately create soft images and show how to avoid them. But always remember, sharpness isn’t an absolute, it depends on where and how your photo is viewed.

Join the conversation, steer the session or just sit back, enjoy the show and discover just how far you can push portrait lighting without spending a penny on new gear.
