That's where shadow work comes in. When you start doing the inner work of facing your own shadow self, something shifts in how you see everyone else too. You stop reacting to what someone does and start understanding where it comes from. Compassion stops being something you perform and becomes something you can't help but feel.
Here's the part that gets me every time: in a relationship, you can only love someone as deeply as you love yourself. Shadow work closes that gap. It's what lets two people finally set down the heavy bags they've been carrying alone and just be in the room together. Inner child to inner child. That's Six of Cups energy, and it's everything.
