Why Do We Make Du'aa Every Time? | Baba Abu Mussab & Mustafa

Description

1. Because Allaah commanded us to ask Him

And your Lord says, "Call upon Me; I will respond to you." Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible.
(Surah Ghafir 40:60)

2. Du'aa is worship

The Prophet ﷺ said:

"Du'aa is worship."

(Sunan al-Tirmidhi, authentic)

Every sincere du'aa is an act of worship, even before it is answered.

3. It shows our poverty and Allaah's richness

Allaah says:

O mankind, you are those in need of Allāh, while Allāh is the Free of need, the Praiseworthy.
(Surah Fatir 35:15)

Every du'aa is a declaration: "O Allaah, I cannot do this without You."
