Why did it take me so long to realize…

But seriously, if you want practical, good for chasing kids and being active in the pool, lake or ocean, pull on your favorite sports bra top and get out there!

I have shorter legs and a longer torso so I have a hard time finding one piece swimsuits that fit---they either come up too high in the back or too low in the front. Separate tops and bottoms work best for me, and after years of trying different suits, I just started wearing sports bra tops as my swimwear. I love the longline options we see all over now for a little more coverage, and most are made to the same material as your favorite suits so they're perfect for the water.

This is not a post to promote any certain one--- most of mine are from Target or Amazon or Fabletics---but just a reminder that you don't have to follow the fashion rules! And, like my last post, a reminder to just get out there and make the memories, without worrying about how you look.

I'm still looking for the perfect bottoms, though, so help your girl out and let me know if you have a favorite brand below! I need coverage (lots of booty) so cheeky isn't my vibe, but high waisted doesn't fit me well (again, long torso, short legs) so something mid rise in between that covers my butt? Whatdaya got, community? Let me know below!
