Description
While BioWare are apparently “just busy workin’” on the next Mass Effect, with “not a lot of time for tease,” that does rather leave us to do what Mass Effect fans have been doing for the better part of half a decade now.
Staring at N7 Day crumbs past bedtime, zooming in on Geth-shaped craters, Cerberus-coded branding, Andromeda distress signals, and one suspiciously slim N7 helmet, all to answer who on Earth, or perhaps more accurately, who in the galaxy, we are playing as this time around.
Because underneath Shepard’s broken N7 armour, rebuilt relays, frozen Reaper graveyards, Andromeda references, and an older Liara watching a new crew emerge beside the Mudskipper, BioWare keeps circling the same two ideas.
The aftermath of Shepard, yes. But also the future of humanity. And as Mike Gamble once put it, “everything we’ve seen - from all N7 day teases - connects.”
So dust off your tinfoil hats and prepare for loaded theory tangents, because we’re connecting the N7 Day teasers accordingly. All in the hopes of working out who Mass Effect’s next protagonist could truly be.
