Ingredients:
For Masala powder:
Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon - 2 piece ( 1.5 inch size )
Star anise - a piece ( small )
Nutmeg - a small piece ( 1/4 " size )
Cloves - 6
Cardamom - 6
Stone flower - a small piece
Kapok buds ( Marathi moggu ) - 1 ( small )
Shah jeera - 1/4 tsp
For preparation:
Chicken - 500g ( after cleaning )
Jeerakasala rice / Basmati rice - 500g ( 2 1/2 cup )
Medium thick coconut milk - 1 cup
Water - 2 3/4 cup
Oil
Onion - 2 ( medium size )
Green chilli - 7
Coriander leaves - a handful
Mint leaves - a handful
Ginger paste - 2 tbsp
Garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Salt
Curd - 3 tbsp
Lime juice - 1/2 lemon ( small size )
Ghee - 2 tbsp
