After the final flights have departed, this is what’s been happening overnight at Terminal 5. 🏗️🚇
Behind the scenes, we’re upgrading the passenger transit system that connects T5A, T5B and T5C. Over multiple evenings, new transit vehicles have been carefully lifted into place.
This year, 20 new vehicles will replace the current fleet, increasing capacity between terminals.
Take a look at how one of these 15‑tonne vehicles is lowered into the tunnel with millimetre‑perfect precision. 📐
