We officially tackled our 26th home renovation, and it might be our most dramatic/chaotic transformation yet on On the Flip!
We bought this 1,500 sq. ft. (3 bed, 3 bath) home for $470,000, but there was a massive catch... it was completely overrun by a toxic cat pee smell. NO ONE ELSE WANTED THIS HOUSE, but because we're delulu, we obviously said YES! We had a tight $70,000 renovation budget (which yes is a TON of money but it's WILD how fast it goes), Chris and I set out to completely transform this disaster into a stunning, high-ceilinged Modern Spanish oasis. I think it worked???!!!!!
From clearing out the flooring and smell to building a custom luxury wine bar under a weird stairwell cabinet, to turned a trashed bathroom into a spa paradise, we are sharing every single budget hack, design choice, and renovation mistake we made along the way. Wait until you see the final living room reveal with the custom arched windows and high ceilings!
