VOCES8 are joined by members of sister group, APOLLO5, to perform the Sanctus from Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’s monumental Missa Papae Marcelli, one of the defining masterpieces of Renaissance polyphony. Written in the sixteenth century and admired for its transcendent beauty, the Mass remains a cornerstone of the choral repertoire.
