After ng ilang araw na batian sa kani-kanilang noontime show na "It's Showtime" at "Eat Bulaga" ay naganap na ang pagtatagpo nina Vice Ganda at Vic Sotto sa Cubao.
Finally na nga ay naganap na ang masinsinang pag-uusap ng dalawang noontime show icons sa Quantum Skyview sa Gateway Mall 2 na dinaluhan ng kanilang fans.
Sa nasabing event ay opisyal na nilang inanunsiyo ang pagsasama nila sa isang pelikula sa unang pagkakataon.
Bibida nga sila sa "The GrEATest SHOWdown" na ididirek ng award-winning director na si Direk Jun Robles Lana.
Wala pang cast at hindi pa sinabi kung kailan ito ipapalabas sa mga sinehan pero inaasahan na magiging bahagi ito ng 52nd Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) sa darating na Pasko, December 25.
Sa July 7 (Martes) naman ang announcement ng first four official entries ng 52nd MMFF.
