But what we measure is 10^-30 grams per cubic centimeter—a 122 orders of magnitude gap, the largest in physics.
For decades, attempts to resolve this used symmetry, fine-tuning, or manual cancellation.
In a geometric framework, the cosmos itself filters vacuum energy. Every horizon, from a proton to the universe, has a finite information capacity that screens this energy.
The result is the vacuum energy density we observe.
