📸 THE CALVINE UFO INCIDENT
On August 4, 1990, two men working as chefs at a hotel in Pitlochry, Scotland, were walking near Calvine when they spotted a huge, diamond-shaped object about 100 feet long hovering silently in the sky.
Terrified, they hid in the bushes. Minutes later, they heard the scream of a jet aircraft. RAF Leuchars in Fife had two squadrons of Tornado fighters on 24-hour standby to intercept Russian intruder aircraft. The jet circled the object before resuming its course—as if the pilot had seen it too and returned for a closer look.
The two men stuck their camera out and captured six frames. Then, the object shot vertically upwards and disappeared.
