Tyler Mitchell’s new work "Time for a New Sky II" (2026) is on view adjacent to the High Line at 18th Street and Tenth Avenue in New York as part of High Line Art’s Billboard series. Mitchell’s first presentation in a large-scale, public format, "Time for a New Sky II" reflects the artist’s ongoing interest in bodily suspension and our relationship to the sky. Curated by Cecilia Alemani, the project continues an ongoing series of artist-designed billboards presented on the site of a historic billboard that once stood at the gateway to the gallery district.
