The Tour de Matra Gran Fondo was next up after my Nationals campaign. Starting off with a short TT on Friday, it was the first TT in a long time where everything seemed to click and the power output was just there. The good feelings continued to the main event on Sunday, even though the result didn’t quite show that fully. It was a good week overall and the perfect way to get the momentum going for the second half of the season.
