Never before released demo from the 1950s. Tommy Blake (1931-1985) was from Dallas, Texas. He started out as a hillbilly singer on The Louisiana Hayride and he was soon introduced to rockabilly when Elvis Presley joined The Louisiana Hayride. Blake made his first record in 1956 on a small record label named "Buddy", the B-Side "Koolit" was a rockabilly song influenced by Presley while the A-Side "If I Am A Fool" was a traditional hillbilly song. He later recorded for RCA and SUN and wrote some country hits. Blake suffered from alcoholism throughout the majority of his life. He was murdered by his third wife over marital disputes on Christmas Eve in 1985.
